Player V7 metadata access

Hello,
We are currently using the player media proxy to access the entry metadata on player V2.

For instance, we call mediaProxy.entry.categories for creating a playlist.

We would like to do the same with player v7 but haven´t found the correct syntax.

It would be of great If you can point us to some documentation or any example code.
In particular, we need to retrieve the categories the entry is assigned to.
